Secure Anythink with Cisco's Umbrella API

In this quest, you'll integrate Cisco's Umbrella API into Anythink's backend to enhance security. You'll learn how to create and manage API keys, generate an OAuth 2.0 access token, and make authenticated requests to the Umbrella API. This integration will allow us to leverage Cisco's cloud security platform to protect our infrastructure and data.

Quest Objectives:

  • Create an Umbrella user account with the necessary permissions.
  • Create and securely store an Umbrella API key and secret.
  • Generate an OAuth 2.0 access token using the Umbrella API.
  • Make an authenticated request to the Umbrella API using the access token.
